About the project

Hello, Again is an interactive film featuring Beck's cover of David Bowie's 'Sound & Vision' played with 160 supporting musicians. Shot at Fox Studios the interactive experience and live event was directed by Chris Milk and utilizes multiple 360 degree cameras, 360 degree binaural audio. An immersive audio visual experience was created so users at home become part of the performance by moving around/rotate/change direction of the video using innovative facial tracking technology.

My role

As the interactive art director I was first challenged to create a simple user flow and ultimately the user experience/journey. I also designed several visual directions and worked closely with Zach Richter to come up with a new industry standard on how to navigate a 360 video experience.

The Case Study

A look into how this innovative project panned out.

Project Visuals

A look into the visual direction that we created. Users within the
experience were able to toggle between 3 main camera views.

Did not make the cut

Here is a few early visual directions that were created.
